Objective

Monitoring competence refers to the management of the equipment, tools and methods and the knowledge generated by them in the promotion and monitoring of clients’ well-being. Examples include using information produced by artificial intelligence, robotics and sensors.

After learning about monitoring competencies, students are experts in their multidisciplinary roles and are able to
• assess the utilisation and reliability of the data used
• measure and evaluate the customer's body structures, functions and performance using monitoring equipment,
• apply results of digital measurement and monitoring equipment in the promotion of health and functional capacity
• assess the application of remote control tools and gamification as tools in the promotion of the health and functional capacity of clients
• apply what they have learned and become competent in the multidisciplinary utilisation of monitoring data
• describe the possibilities of utilising robotics in monitoring the client's condition and promoting their rehabilitation
