Objective

Online interaction refers to interaction between two or more people over an information network. Online interaction might refer to simultaneous interaction or interaction at different times. Online interaction competence includes the ability to recognise factors affecting online interaction, ability to utilise various digital tools as well as the ability to plan interactive situations online. Professionals must also be able to utilise social media environments in professional interaction.

After learning about online interaction competence, students are experts in their multidisciplinary roles and are able to
• name the features of online interaction
• analyse factors affecting online interaction
• recognise which factors contribute to a successful online interaction
• plan online interactions
• operate easily in different online interactions
