Objective
Students will be able to
- understand the characteristics of an interpreting situation
- analyse interpreting situations
- assess their professional practice as interpreters for people with speech impairments
- identify team interpreting methods and work in teams
- introduce clients to interpreting services and introduce other interpreters to a client’s communication preferences
