    Learning outcomes of the course
    Students will be able to
    - understand the characteristics of an interpreting situation
    - analyse interpreting situations
    - assess their professional practice as interpreters for people with speech impairments
    - identify team interpreting methods and work in teams
    - introduce clients to interpreting services and introduce other interpreters to a client’s communication preferences

    - preparation, interpreting, concluding the session
    - physical factors, interaction, interpreting solutions, interpreting practices, client-specific communication methods
    - ethics, confidentiality, self-reflection
    - team interpreting, teamwork skills, assistants
    - the interpreting service system
