Objective

Students will be able to
- recognise the role of identity as part of professional development and the effects of personal and general attitudes, values, culture and religion on professional practice
- describe the ethical codes of conduct and principles of interpreting and their meaning in practice
- identify key pieces of legislation relating to interpreting practice and service provision and their meaning in practice
- identify key actors of the field and recognise their personal roles as members of the professional community
