The student

- is able to prepare for interpretation assignments, to work as an interpreter as agreed, and to assess his/her performance
- is able to identify his/her strengths and development needs as a signer and interpreter or as a sign supported communication teacher and interpreter
- is able to fluently use his/her working languages or Finnish and different communication methods as the situation requires
