Opintojakso alkaa luennoilla, joiden välissä tehdään itsenäisiä oppimistehtäviä.
Opintojakson aikana oppimista tukevat kokemuspuhujien vierailut ja jakson päättää pienryhmissä tehtävä kirjatentti. Kehityspsykologiassa käsitellään nuoruus ja aikuisuus. Kehityspsykologian oppimistehtävän avulla harjoitellaan suullisia viestintätaitoja.
Objective
Students will be able to
- identify different types of client groups in interpreting and their characteristics
- demonstrate knowledge of common causes of hearing and speech impairments
- describe client organisations and their advocacy role
- identify the stages of psychological development and their connections with a client’s communication and functional ability
- take into account the effects of developmental stages in work with clients
