Opintojakso alkaa luennolla. Kehityspsykologiassa käsitellään nuoruus ja aikuisuus. Oppimistehtävän avulla harjoitellaan suullisia viestintätaitoja. Luentojen välissä tehdään itsenäisiä tehtäviä. Kokemusasiantuntijat vierailevat luentojen välissä. Opintojakson päättää pienryhmissä tehtävä kirjatentti.
Objective
Students will be able to
- identify different types of client groups in interpreting and their characteristics
- demonstrate knowledge of common causes of hearing and speech impairments
- describe client organisations and their advocacy role
- identify the stages of psychological development and their connections with a client’s communication and functional ability
- take into account the effects of developmental stages in work with clients
