Objective
Students
- understand the characteristics of patient safety in pharmacotherapy within child and adolescent nursing
- understand the basics of clinical pharmacology in pharmacotherapy of the most common child and adolescent diseases and know how to apply the information in nursing
- know how to guide pharmacotherapy and its self-supervision to children and adolescents and their immediate circle
- know how to execute the various forms of drug calculations without errors and understand the significance of the operations in nursing

Teaching methods
* Lääkehoidon ja lääkelaskujen oppiminen tapahtuu itsenäisesti opiskelemalla sekä havainnollistavien kliinisten potilasesimerkkien avulla luento-opetuksessa.
*Opetuksessa voidaan hyödyntää myös opiskelijalähtöisiä keskusteluja Moodlessa
*Opintojaksossa suoritettava lääke- ja nestehoidon teoriatentti sekä lääkelaskut
Exam schedules
- Teoriaosan tentti numeerinen K5-T1/hyl
- Lääkelaskut hyväksytty/hyl, laskut oltava 100 % oikein.
Student workload
1 op = 27 h opiskelijan työtä.
Qualifications
Turvallinen lääkehoito ja -laskenta (LÄÄ01) sekä Aikuisten lääkehoito ja -laskenta (LÄÄ02) tulee olla suoritettuna.
