Opintojaksolla käännetään helppoja tekstejä suomen kielestä viittomakieleen ja viittomakielestä suomen kieleen.
Opintojaksolla käsitellään valmistautumiseen liittyviä asioita, jotka tulee ottaa huomioon tulkkauksessa.
Lähitunneilla jatketaan konsekutiivitulkkausharjoituksia sekä opetellaan simultaanitulkkauksen, prima vista -tulkkauksen ja kahdensuuntaisen tulkkauksen perusteita.
Lähituntien aikana harjoitellaan tulkkausta viittomakielellä ja eri puhetta tukevilla ja korvaavilla kommunikaatiomenetelmillä.
Objective
Students will be able to
- translate simple texts
- prepare for interpreting assignments
- interpret consecutively and simultaneously
- use sight interpreting (prima vista)
- demonstrate knowledge of the basics of bidirectional interpreting
