Teaching methods

Res03 contains:
- supervisory workshops
- seminars (participation, presentation of own thesis manuscript & serving as an opponent to one other manuscript)
- individual work (implementation of the thesis and writing the mansucript)
- (one individual guidance session with thesis supervisor)

Employer connections

A working life partner for student's thesis is highly recommended. The student should look for the working life partner themselves e.g. during their placement. It is worth noticing that connection to working life is one of the several evaluation criteria of the thesis. An agreement with working life partner must be signed using a form provided at Diak.

Exam schedules

Students will present their manuscript and serve as an opponent to one thesis work in one of the thesis seminars organised in the spring.

Completion alternatives

There are no alternative ways of conducting the study module.

Student workload

Participating in seminars and serving as an opponen approx 1 cr
Implementation of the thesis and writing the manuscript approx 4 cr
