Tavoitteet

The students will be able to:
• apply research, development and innovation methods in a working life context
• implement the thesis with an innovative and reflective approach to social services and the community work setting
• understand the meaning of evaluation and analysis in research, development and innovation processes
• give and receive constructive feedback in the thesis process
• write a thesis manuscript

Aika ja paikka

All teaching sessions are held in Zoom. Individual supervision with thesis supervisor are organised in a manner agreed with the student and thesis supervisor.

Opetusmenetelmät

Res03 contains:
- supervisory workshops
- seminars (participation, presentation of own thesis manuscript & serving as an opponent to one other manuscript)
- individual work (implementation of the thesis and writing the mansucript)
- (one individual guidance session with thesis supervisor)

Harjoittelu- ja työelämäyhteistyö

A working life partner for student's thesis is highly recommended. The student should look for the working life partner themselves e.g. during their placement. It is worth noticing that connection to working life is one of the several evaluation criteria of the thesis. An agreement with working life partner must be signed using a form provided at Diak.

Tenttien ajankohdat ja uusintamahdollisuudet

Students will present their manuscript and serve as an opponent to one thesis work in one of the thesis seminars organised in the spring.
