Objective

After completing the study unit, students will be able to:
- Analyse the conceptual, competence-based and attitude-related hindrances to evidence-based practice, and also work to remove them
- Obtain research-based information and evaluate critically its usefulness and usability for the wellbeing services of a client/patient with a long-term illness and for the development of evidence-based practice
- Make use of the best and most current information for the wellbeing services of clients with long-term illnesses and people near them, for directing such services and for developing entrepreneurship in the area
