After having completed this course you are able to:
- collaborate inclusively, ethically, sustainably and responsibly in multi-cultural teams
- interpret opportunities and advantages of diversity in project teams
- identify the principles and challenges of multicultural teamwork
- demonstrate best practices of project management

Arviointikriteerit - tyydyttävä (1-2)

UNTIL 31.7.2026: When the implementation type of the course is CONTACT, ONLINE or BLENDED it is required that the student is present during those teaching hours that are marked in the study schedule. If you are absent more than 25 %, your grade will be lowered by one. If you are absent more than 50 %, the course is failed.

STARTING FROM 1.8.2026: For contact, online,and blended implementations of courses, we require attendance at the scheduled teachingsessions indicated in the timetable. If you are absent from more than 50 % of the sessions, the course will be failed.

Grade 1:
You can describe group dynamics and the basics of project management. You understand the challenges of multicultural teamwork. You can complete assigned tasks in a project with guidance.

Arviointikriteerit - hyvä (3-4)

You can analyse group dynamics and apply project management tools to your own tasks. You actively participate in multicultural teamwork, taking responsibility for achieving project goals. You can give and receive feedback from peers and the team, and conduct self-assessment. You can set objectives and work within a team according to the agreed-upon plan.

Arviointikriteerit - kiitettävä (5)

You can plan, execute, and evaluate teamwork and projects, setting development goals for both yourself and your team. You can leverage multicultural teams, analyse team effectiveness, and assess performance. You can use feedback to reflect on and analyse both your team's work and your own actions.
