Objective

Students
- know how to execute parenteral hydration and nutrition treatment and pharmacotherapy in acute nursing
- know how to execute enteral nutrition in the treatment of a chronically ill patient
- know how to apply information in preparing and guiding patients before a surgery and in the most common surgery and anaesthesia operations as well as observation and nursing after surgeries
- know how to use the check lists in an operating room
- are familiar with the principles of advanced life support
- are familiar with equipment technology and patient safety
- know how to justify their actions with up-to-date research data and care recommendations

- Nursing process of an internal disease patient, perioperative patient and cancer patient
- parenteral and enteral hydration and nutrition treatment and pharmacotherapy, blood transfusion, sampling
