Objective

The student will be able to:
• know Finnish language at the skill level A1.3
• know vocabulary and grammar relevant to skill level A1.3
• use the language in routine and simple discussions
• write longer texts
• understand the main points in short, relatively easy texts
• master the basics of grammar

Content

Contents:
• different word types
• the objective
• uncountable words and the partitive
• ordinal numbers
• Vocabulary relating to travelling and traffic, food and drink, work and different professions

Teaching methods

The course consists of contact teaching (lectures), group discussions, individual learning assignments and exam.

Suomen mestari 1 (new edition), chapters 7 – 9, teacher´s materials
