Objective
Students will be able to
• take into account families’ diversity in their practice
• recognise the importance of strengthening relationships in families
• demonstrate knowledge of multidisciplinary assessment and support it in their practice
• understand the seamless, continuous and timely nature of support methods and the comprehensive planning of support measures with family involvement
• support children and families in everyday settings (maternity and child health clinics, early childhood education, schools, etc.), in work with families under the Social Welfare Act and in family support and rehabilitation aimed at child protection and supporting families’ agency in accordance with the Child Welfare Act
• understand the role of expertise by experience in planning, practice and assessment
• understand the possibilities of tele-helping in work with families
