Opetusmenetelmät
The student is expected to assess and act appropriate providing first aid in typical accident and illness situations of clients in the social work environment
Course content:
- emergency first aid and emergency call
- giving first aid for an unconscious person and learning recovery position
- cardiopulmonary resuscitation for children and adults
- the most common seizures (epilepsy, asthma attack, diabetes, chest pain, headache,
allergic reaction, asthma, cerebral hemorrhage)
- removing a foreign object from the airways
- the most common accidents and FA
- wounds and how to stop the bleeding
Toteutuksen valinnaiset suoritustavat
PRL is possible with FA1-training, which is valid for at least one year from the start of the studies. The training shall be presented on an FA1 certificate, which shall state the expiry date of the certificate.
