Sisällön jaksotus
- The PMI contact teaching will be offered during 07.01.2020 - 24.04.2020.
- Collaborate sessions are offered to support students' project planning and implementation during distance learning days.
- Written assignments will be completed mainly during distance learning days.
- Students will work in teams in planning, implementing and evaluating the projects during distance learning days.

Opetusmenetelmät
- Contact teaching: lectures, workshops and seminars.
- Written assignments during contact teaching and distance learning days.
- The key content of PMI is to plan, implement and evaluate a small scale project in teams. The projects will be conducted in collaboration with a working life partner or a Diak's project.
- The main written assignments are a project plan and a project report.
- Seminar presentations of the project's results in the end of the course.
- The project can be part of the thesis work if it is agreed on in advance with the teachers.

- General exam days in Helsinki campus.
- Exams are agreed with teachers.
Toteutuksen valinnaiset suoritustavat
- A student needs to complete the course by planning, implementing and evaluating a small scale project.
- Absence from contact teaching will be compensating with written assignments and exams.
- The alternative way to complete the PMI course need to be agreed in advance with the responsible teacher latest on December 13th 2019.
Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus
Project management and implementation (PMI) is 9 ECTS. It equals 239 hours of students' work:
- Project planning (3 credits= 80 hours of students' work)
- Project implementation (4 credits: 106 hours of students' work)
- Project evaluation + project report (2 credits: 53 hours of students' work)
- Students need to be prepared to make a detailed timetable for spring 2020 studies.
