Sisällön jaksotus

The study module contains online workshops that support the thesis writing:
- Writing a thesis manuscript
- Presenting a thesis manuscript in one of the thesis seminars.
- Acting as an opponent for a thesis manuscript.
- Participating in thesis seminars in addition to RES03 workshops.

Tavoitteet

The students will be able to
- implement the thesis with a community development approach in co-operation with a working life organization conduct the thesis with research, development and reflective orientation
- apply different research methods and development methods in the thesis
- give and receive critical and supportive feedback from thesis work in interaction with peer students, teachers and working life representatives

Harjoittelu- ja työelämäyhteistyö

- Thesis will be conducted with a work life partner or Diak's project.
- Thesis can be combined with practical placement when agreed with the responsible teacher and study guidance councellor.

Kansainvälisyys

- Thesis can be conducted in collaboration with a international work life partner. This needs to be agreed with the responsible teacher.

- This study module cannot be conducted in an alternative way.

Opiskelijan ajankäyttö ja kuormitus

- RES03 (Participatory and Research-Oriented Development 3) is 5 ECTS. This means 135 hours (5 x 27h) for individual student's work load.
