Perusasiat käydään läpi lähiopetuksessa, oppimista syvennetään itsenäisillä tehtävillä
1. Vuorovaikutusosaaminen

- verenpaineen tarkkaileminen

Tavoitteet
Competency aims:
The aim of the course is to give the student
• Knowledge of the Finnish language on level B1.2
• How to use it in everyday situations
• How to improve the language skills independently
Learning outcomes:
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to
• On level B1.2 in CEFR
• Cope in routine situations in Finnish orally e.g. present themselves and ask about the patient’s health
• Improve their knowledge of the nursing terminology and the Finnish language independently
• write short notes and recognize many of the words used in e.g. health care forms
• Form sentences and questions in the present and past tense
• Tense both orally and in writing
• Understand the essential information in texts, as fairly simple instructions and short reports (reading comprehension)
• To understand words and expressions in normal speech (listening comprehension).
Sisältö
Course contents:
• Structures of the language, pronunciation and vocabulary
• Texts and dialogues
• Computer aided exercises on all sections mentioned above
• Main focus on nursing interactions and material.
Opetusmenetelmät
The course consists of lectures, group discussions, individual learning assignments and exams at the end of the course (written and oral).
The main focus is on nursing interaction and communication skills.
