Objective

Students
• know how to observe, bring up in conversation and document the life situations, wellbeing and factors stressing and promoting the health of customers/patients of various ages
• know how to act as an advocate and maintain and promote the health of customer and patient groups in need of special support and in a vulnerable position
• know how to highlight the significance of pastoral care and spiritual nursing in the working community and nursing
• can evaluate and deepen their growth as someone providing pastoral and spiritual care in nursing
• know how to use and develop helping methods in nursing that strengthen the resources, inclusion and spiritual wellbeing of customers and their immediate circle
• know how to develop evidence-based helping methods in nursing and diaconal nursing and evaluate their impact in health promotion work
• know how to utilise the health technology tools and applications used in specialist work in a customer-oriented manner and analyse the ethical challenges of their use
• know how to assess and deepen their development as someone carrying out spiritual work and as a specialist of diaconal nursing in multidisciplinary working groups, work communities and networks
• assess and develop their professional ethical operations according to the principles of nursing and diaconal work
