Objective

The students will be able to:
• evaluate research, development and innovation processes in a professional field
• present and justify the results of their work in the thesis publication seminars
• participate in professional and ethical discussions
• disseminate the results and recommendations of their thesis and communicate their expertise to various stakeholders

• Maturity test

- Lectures, workshops, seminars
- Individual or group work writing and finalising the thesis

- Literature depends on each thesis.
- Literature for writing guidebooks, research methods and other teaching materials are available in Diakle RES2-4.

The thesis is conducted in collaboration with a working life partner.

There are no exams.

Student workload

5 credits (ECTS) = 135 hours of a student's work (1 credit=27 hours)

- Writing and submitting the preliminary thesis
- Presenting the preliminary thesis in a publication seminar
- Acting as an opponent in a publication seminar
- Submitting written opponent's comments
- Taking a maturity test
- Submitting the final version of the thesis

Assessment methods and criteria

All assignments are graded: pass/to be resubmitted.

The final thesis will be graded: 1-5
