The main contents in the study module:
Orientation lecture
A lecture of Identity and life course
A lecture of Communities and exposure method
Two guidance sessions
A poster seminar on group work
Tavoitteet
The students will be able to:
• understand basic concepts in personal identity and life-course
• reflect on their own self-biography and that of others
• understand basic concepts of communities
• use observation methods in community work
• work individually and as a member of a team

Aika ja paikka
The schedule of ICO study module is available in Mydiak and Tuudo.
The changes of the schedule will be informed in Diakle platform.
All lectures and teaching sessions are only at Helsinki campus.

Toteutuksen valinnaiset suoritustavat
Alternative ways of completing the study module should be discussed with the responsible teacher in the beginning of the study module.
The module is carried outboth individually and with a group in the field.
Application for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is able to apply only on special criteria. Contact the responsible teacher.

The course has 5 ECTS. 1 ECT equals 27 hours of a student's work. Totally 135 hours during the time frame 14.10.2024 - 24.11.2024.
