Objective
Students will be able to
- identify different types of client groups in interpreting and their characteristics
- demonstrate knowledge of common causes of hearing and speech impairments
- describe client organisations and their advocacy role
- identify the stages of psychological development and their connections with a client’s communication and functional ability
- take into account the effects of developmental stages in work with clients
