Etiikka on tärkeä osa hoitotyötä ja sairaanhoitajan ammattia. Hoitotyötä ei voi toteuttaa ilman eettistä näkemystä ja sensitiivisyyttä. Hoitotyön ammattilaisten tulisi ajoittain pysähtyä miettimään käytännön hoitotyötä eettisestä näkökulmasta. Millaisia eettistä pohdintaa vaativia tilanteita olet kohdannut toimiessasi hoitotyössä? Pohdi yhtä tällaista tilannetta anonymiteetti säilyttäen ja kuvaa millaisia ajatuksia tilanne sinussa herätti. Miten se vahvisti omaa eettistä ajatteluasi ja ammatillisuuttasi? Hyödynnä 1) sairaanhoitajan kollegiaalisuusohjeita ja 2) sairaanhoitajan eettisiä ohjeita pohdinnassasi.
