Teaching methods

The student is able to act and provide first aid in typical accident and illness situations of clients in the social work environment:
- emergency first aid and emergency call
- giving first aid for an unconscious person and learning recovery position
- cardiopulmonary resuscitation for children and adults
- the most common seizures (epilepsy, asthma attack, diabetes, chest pain, headache,
allergic reaction, asthma, cerebral hemorrhage)
- removing a foreign object from the airways
- the most common accidents and FA
- wounds and how to stop the bleeding
- burns and first aid
- joint injuries
- first aid for the most common fractures
- first aid for poisoning

Location and time

Individual studies include quiz which must be passed before participation in online lectures.
2 online lectures at collaborate.
