Objective
The students will be able to
- understand global determinants of health and factors of vulnerability
- is able to analyze the impact of global determinants on health risks
- impact of poverty, exclusion and humanitarian crises on communities
- learn the Sustainable Development Goals (Agenda2030), the human rights-based approach and the main tenets of Finnish development policy
- identify the global economic, social and cultural connectives and understand their impact in individual, community and societal levels
- reflect on diverse aspects in international work with regard to health, safety, security and psychosocial wellbeing
