Objective
Students
• are familiar with the underlying factors of mental health disorders in children and adolescents
• can support the mental health and psychological wellbeing of children and adolescents
• can develop their readiness for multi-professional work and networking
• are familiar with the services offered to young people in the various operating environments online and how they use the services
• can assess the impact of online environments and social media on the mental wellbeing of children and young people
• can guide children and young people and their families to the services they need

Qualifications
Suitable for nurses, public health nurses, and midwives to deepen and update their skills, or for health sector university of applied sciences students who have already completed the relevant professional basic studies in their degree. The requirement for transitioning to advanced studies is approximately 120 credits or another specific reason agreed upon with a study counselor. Open university students should have equivalent knowledge (a corresponding course from another university of applied sciences or sufficient work experience as a nurse).
