Objective

Students
• can predict, identify and assess changes and resources related to the health, functional capacity and wellbeing of customers/patients
• can take into account the impact of ageing on vital functions when assessing the need for care and implementing care
• can plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based care for customers/patients in a customer-oriented and multiprofessional cooperation
• can plan, implement and evaluate under supervision holistic pharmacotherapy for customers/patients, taking into account any functional changes in the body
• can support and guide customers’/patients’ families, respecting their experiences and opinions and strengthening their participation and agency
• can assess the risk factors that increase the need for services related to the health, living conditions and life situation of customers/patients and instruct them in the use of available services
• can guide customers/patients and their families to use appropriate social and health care and 3rd sector services
• can use different methods in nursing and health and functional capacity promotion
• can analyse and assess the ethical challenges related to customer/patient care and the use of health technology applications
• can analyse the principles of sustainable development in nursing and provide development suggestions as a basis for ethically sustainable nursing
