Students
• know how to identify and help patients, customers and families in need of special support and in a vulnerable position
• are familiar with and know how to use helping methods of diaconal nursing in a patient-, customer- and community-oriented manner
• know the key trends of pastoral care
• know how to apply methods of pastoral care and spiritual guidance in a versatile way
• know how to act as a specialist of diaconal nursing in multidisciplinary working groups, work communities and networks
• can evaluate their own actions as a social advocate and a promoter of citizens’ health and wellbeing
