Descriptions
Opetussuunnitelma täyttää terveydenhuollon ammattihenkilöstöä koskevan lain (559/1994 ja 1200/2007) ja asetuksen (564/1994), EU direktiivit (päivitys 2013/55/EU) sekä kansallisesti ja valtakunnallisesti sovitut sairaanhoitajakoulutuksen osaamisvaatimukset (2019).
Tutkinto sisältää kirkkohallituksen 31.5.2023 päätöksen (Kirkon säädöskokoelma nro 162) mukaiset vähintään 60 op:n laajuiset teologiset opinnot sekä seurakunnan ja kirkon työhön liittyvät ammattiopinnot. Tutkinto antaa Suomen evankelis-luterilaisen kirkon diakonian viran haltijalta ja diakoniatyötä pääasiallisena tehtävänään tekevältä viranhaltijalta (diakonissa) vaadittavan kelpoisuuden.

• Teologiset opinnot 20 op
• Kirkon alan ammattiopinnot 25 op
• Seurakunnan ja kirkon työelämään liittyvät opinnot 15 op
