Descriptions
Sosionomi (AMK) tutkinnon suorittaminen antaa sosiaalihuollon ammattioikeudet. Tutkinnon suorittanut voi hakea ammattioikeuksia toimia sosionomina Sosiaali- ja terveysalan lupa- ja valvontavirasto Valviralta (Laki sosiaalihuollon ammattihenkilöistä 817/2015, 8§). Sosionomi (AMK) tutkintoon voi sisällyttää varhaiskasvatukseen ja sosiaalipedagogiikkaan suuntautuneet, vähintään 60 opintopisteen laajuiset opinnot. Tällöin tutkinto antaa kelpoisuuden toimia Varhaiskasvatuslain (540/2018, 27§) mukaisessa varhaiskasvatuksen sosionomin tehtävässä.
