Objective
Students
• understand the starting points of systemic, planned and relationship-based approaches and their role in child protection work
• understand the “Child in the centre” approach: the importance of genuine interaction and presence; the development of a child’s wellbeing, sense of safety, agency and positive self-image
• understand the role of family-therapeutic approaches and trauma-aware work in child protection
• know how to work in a child-oriented manner with different operators as a social counsellor and family worker in child protection, intensive family work and family rehabilitation
