Students
• know how to interact with people in different life situations as a spiritual guide
• know how to use various methods of pastoral care
• are familiar with the tradition of spiritual guidance and know how to apply spiritual guidance methods
• are familiar with the principles and operating methods of crisis work and spiritual care in the parish and church
• know how to reflect on their own actions in pastoral care

• interacting with people of different ages and in different life situations and crises
• pastoral care methods and tools
• supervision of parishioners in pastoral peer support activities
• tradition and methods of spiritual guidance
• the Bible, hymn book and church handbooks in pastoral care and spiritual counselling
• crisis work in the parish and church
