Objective

Students
• are familiar with the legislation and national guidelines governing school and student healthcare and health promotion
• know how to plan, execute and assess the monitoring of the growth and development of school-age children and young people
• know how to support evidence-based promotion of the health of school-age children and young people as well as families
• know how to assess the need for special support and continued care of school-age children, young people and their families in collaboration with other actors
• know how to apply the ethical principles of public health nurse work
