• know how to consider the diversity of children and families
• know how to acknowledge a child and their family in a comprehensive manner
• are familiar with the growth and development stages of children
• know the content of the early childhood education plan
• know how to bring up the need to promote a child’s health and wellbeing
• know how to organise a guidance or play event
• are familiar with the basics of child welfare in their operations
• know the principles of multi-professional cooperation in maternity and child clinic services and other family services and are familiar with the principles of child protection
• know how to assess their competence and reflect on the development of their professional growth
