Students will be able to
• identify the principles of research-based development and its role in the development of interpreting practices
• apply systematic information retrieval and appraise the reliability and application of research data in R&D
• identify key processes and methods of research-based development and apply them in their thesis project

• typical methods of research-based development; multimethodology
• systematic information retrieval as part of research-based development
• ethics and roles of different stakeholders in research-based development
• idea generation and objectives of a development project
