Objective
The student
- Knows how to function orally in sub-areas such as the following knows how to act appropriately in everyday field-specific working life situations requiring use of Finnish and is able to self-reliantly participate in the interaction in familiar situations (Skill level B1)
- Knows how to function in writing in sub-areas such as the following is able to cope with working life everyday general and field-specific situations requiring use of Finnish, is able write contextually coherent texts and is able to use the basic structures of Finnish more or less easily (Skill level B1)
- Knows how to use the basic vocabulary of his/her own field and of standard Finnish
- Is able to describe fields of work and various tasks in Finnish
- Is able to interview, guide, and provide information in service user situations
- Understands Finnish in written form, is able to write in Finnish, and is able to speak in Finnish in connection with general subject matters and communication situations in his/her field of work
