Objective

The student can perform administrative activities related to the Linux operating system and maintain Linux servers.

Content

Assignments with Linux virtual servers, command line shell, data processing, installing and compiling software, common services, networking, containers, basics of shell scripting, server administration tasks.

Qualifications

Generic programming and command line basic skills.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student can use the basic concepts learned during the course. The student has basic know-how of command line and common commands.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student can install and configure common networking services.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student can develop basic Bash scripts and maintain Linux server.
