Objective

I understand the nursing and medication of a person with chronic diseases according to the nursing process, based on evidence. I understand the symptomatic care of a terminally ill person and supporting them and their loved ones. I understand the risk factors that cause public health problems. I understand the importance and basics of patient guidance as part of guidance and nursing of chronic diseases. I understand epidemiology, ethology, symptoms and research findings, clinical pharmacology and medical treatment of chronic diseases.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student - knows the risk factors that cause public health problems. - knows the main symptoms/clinical signs of patients with various common diseases and the functions of nursing. - uses a variety of research and treatment technologies and can evaluate the effectiveness of treatment in a guided way. - knows symptomatic nursing activities for terminally ill patients and activities to support the patient and family members in a guided way. - knows the importance and basics of patient counselling and customer communication as part of the management of public health diseases. - carries out a counselling situation. - Identifies some of the factors, symptoms, research findings and medical treatments that contribute to the incidence and development of common diseases. - remembers some basic information about the pharmacology of drugs used to treat common chronic diseases.

The student - describes the risk factors that cause public health problems. - describes the main symptoms/clinical signs of patients with various common diseases and the functions of nursing. - uses a variety of research and treatment technologies and can evaluate the effectiveness of treatment. - describes the symptomatic nursing activities of a terminally ill patient and the activities of patient and family support. - describes the importance and basics of patient counselling and customer communication as part of the care of people with common diseases. - implements the counselling situation as planned. - identifies the factors, symptoms, research findings and medical treatments that contribute to the incidence and development of common diseases. - remembers the main points about the pharmacology of drugs used to treat common chronic diseases.

The student - describes the risk factors that cause public health problems. - describes the main symptoms/clinical signs and nursing activities of patients with various common diseases. - makes informed choices about different research and treatment technologies and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment. - describes, with justification, the symptomatic nursing activities of a terminally ill patient and the activities of patient and caregiver support. - describes the importance and rationale of patient counselling and communication as part of the management of public health diseases. - implements the counselling situation in a patient-centred way. - identifies a wide range of factors that influence the incidence and development of the most common public diseases. - provides a comprehensive description of symptoms, justification of relevant studies and research findings, and medical treatment. - remembers the pharmacology of drugs used to treat common chronic diseases comprehensively
