Objective
The student uses various digital tools and services efficiently and appropriately to support the completion and development of work tasks. The student utilizes the digital environment and seeks and evaluates other suitable digital solutions for the needs of their field. The student understands the basic principles and possibilities of working online. The student regularly assesses their own digital competence and IT skills in relation to the requirements and changes of working life. The student identifies their strengths and areas for improvement in digital skills and looks for suitable ways to develop them continuously. The student gives and receives feedback on their digital competence and shares their expertise with others. The student selects and uses appropriate digital tools to create and edit various documents, reports, and visual presentations. The student utilizes versatile features of software tools, such as adding charts, calculations, images, and links. The student ensures the accessibility and copyright compliance of their documents and follows general practices for writing and referencing. The student acts securely and respects data protection in digital environments. The student recognizes and avoids common cybersecurity risks, such as malware, phishing, password theft, and identity theft. The student protects personal data and sensitive information handled in their work. The student complies with legislation and ethical principles related to information security and data protection.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Pass: The student recognizes and names key digital tools and services. The student identifies the strengths and areas for improvement in their digital competence. The student follows general writing practices. The student uses digital tools to create documents and presentations at a basic level. The student recognizes the most common cybersecurity risks and can describe their impacts. The student names basic principles related to copyright and follows referencing practices.
