Objective

This course focuses on the management of organisations from the perspective of societal responsibility. The student learns what environmental responsibility and broader societal responsibility mean in an organisation’s activities, and how these can be promoted through modern management practices. The student learns to assess the societal and environmental responsibility of their own organisation, and how they can develop responsible management practices.

After completing the course, the student will be able to
- understand the principles and significance of societally and environmentally responsible management
- assess the societal impacts of their organisation’s activities
- develop the responsibility practices of organisations.

- The basics of societal responsibility and sustainable development
- The tools and frameworks for responsible management
- Concretely developing responsibility in the world of work
