Objective
The student: - masters key concepts of digitalisation in the field of health care and social services and is able to explain the phenomena underlying these developments - is familiar with the principles of service systems and key national digitalisation projects - is familiar with essential legislation, regulations, and professional ethical principles related to digitalisation in the field of health care and social services - understands the role of a digital service expert in the field of health care and social services - is able to apply in practice the core competences of a digital service expert: technologies and digital capabilities, ethics, communication, guidance, teaching, and customer-oriented research and development activities.
Content
- The key concepts and background phenomena of digitalisation in the field of health care and social services - Digitalised processes, major digitalisation projects, as well as national and EU-level guiding regulations - Expertise and core competencies in the digital operating environment - Ethical and sustainability perspectives of digitalisation
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
The student demonstrates mastery of the basic content of the course, but there are deficiencies in independent information retrieval, interpretation, and the ability to apply what has been learned.

The student demonstrates a strong command of the course content. They actively seek information and interpret its key connections. They possess the ability to analyse what they have learned and apply this knowledge in practice.

The student demonstrates a comprehensive and versatile mastery of the course content. They possess excellent, purpose-appropriate information retrieval skills. Assessment criterion, pass/fail: Pass: The student demonstrates mastery of the core content of the study unit, and the individual assignments have been completed by the deadline. Fail: The student does not demonstrate mastery of the core content of the study unit, or tasks related to the implementation have not been completed by the deadline.
