Content scheduling
Opintojakso alkaa luennoilla. Ennen lähiopetusta opiskelijat tutustuvat annettuihin kommunikointimenetelmistä kertoviin lähteisiin ja valmistautuvat näin tunteihin. Lähiopetuksen aikana harjoitellaan kommunikointia erilaisilla puhetta tukevilla ja korvaavilla kommunikointimenetelmillä, viittomakommunikaatiolla ja viittomakielellä. Lapsen kielen kehitystä opiskellaan case-tehtävän avulla. Sitä tukee kehityspsykologian osuus lapsuudesta. Opintojakson päättää aidoissa asioimistilanteissa ryhmissä tehtävät ja tallennettavat sekä analysoitavat kommunikointiharjoitukset.

- identify common communication methods used by different client groups
- communicate by different methods at the basic level
- describe asymmetries in communication
- act responsibly as communication partners

Teaching methods
Luennot ja tunnilla tehtävät harjoitukset. Itsenäisenä työskentelynä pari- ja ryhmätehtäviä, joissa harjoitellaan kommunikointimenetelmiä. Kirjallisia oppimistehtäviä.
Tunneilla tehtävissä harjoituksissa 100% läsnäolovaatimus.
Student workload
Opiskelijan työmäärä on 27 tuntia / opintopiste.
Qualifications
Osallistuminen edellyttää ATI01-opintojakson suorittamista, ellei opinto-ohjaajan kanssa ole toisin sovittu.
