Objective
Students will be able to
- write in Finnish at proficiency level B2, depending on their entry level
- produce text on topics relating to study and work
- master the structures of the Finnish language
- understand the importance of reading to good writing
- utilise feedback to develop their writing skills.
Content
- writing various types of text, e.g. formal messages, summaries (from interviews, speech, text), source-based writing
- revision of grammar
- demanding reading comprehension exercises
Materials
Opettajan materiaalit.
Teaching methods
Etäopetus, harjoitukset ja kommunikatiiviset ryhmä- ja paritehtävät. Itsenäiset tehtävät.
Student workload
5 op (27 x 5 = 135 tuntia). Kontaktiopetusta on vähän ja kurssi suoritetaan suurimmaksi osaksi tekemällä kirjallisia tehtäviä.
Kurssi on kirjoittamiseen painottuva verkkokurssi. Kurssi etenee intensiivisesti ja opiskelijan täytyy olla valmis tekemään monta tiukassa aikataulussa palautettavaa tehtävää
Vaaditaan säännöllistä osallistumista etäluentoihin.
Opiskelijalla pitää olla käytössään tietokone, mikrofoni ja kamera.
