Content scheduling
Opintojaksolla perehdytään tulkkauksen ja käännöksen peruskäsitteisiin sekä tulkkaus- ja käännösteorioihin. Lähiopetuksessa syvennytään teorioihin käytännön harjoitusten kautta.
Lähiopetuksessa harjoitellaan konsekutiivitulkkausta tulkkausteorioiden pohjalta. Tulkkauksia harjoitellaan perustasolla kielillä suomi-suomi, viittomakieli-viittomakieli sekä suomi-viittomakieli-suomi. Konsekutiivitulkkausta harjoitellaan erilaisia kommunikaatiomenetelmiä käyttäen.
Lähiopetuksessa harjoitellaan ydinsisällön löytymistä ja välittämistä sekä erilaisten muistiinpanotekniikoiden käyttöä.
Objective
Students will be able to
- identify basic concepts of translation and interpreting and describe the interpreting process
- recognise the contextual and cultural aspects of translation and interpreting
- identify core contents in text and make notes
- translate and consecutively interpret everyday texts
- compare working languages and communication methods
