Objective

Students
- know how to apply the basics of medical care in the nursing of the most common child and adolescent diseases
- understand the significance of the disease and hospital care to the child, adolescent and their family and know how to support and promote the wellbeing of families with children
- know how to guide the child, adolescent and their family in a customer- and resource-based manner while considering the need to cope in the daily life
- know how to apply evidence-based data and assess the quality of care

- a family-oriented nursing process of a child and adolescent who has fallen suddenly and chronically ill
- various forms and methods of family nursing
