Objective

Students
• know how to explain the principles of good occupational healthcare praxis
• know how to explain key occupational healthcare processes
• know how to evaluate the health impact of work, work communities and work environments
• know how to plan, implement and evaluate necessary suggestions for measures to promote the health of the workplace, work community and individuals
• are familiar with key work-induced illnesses, occupational accident risks and factors affecting occupational health
• are familiar with the principles of incapacity for work and replacement and know how to develop rehabilitative work methods
• know how to analyse the impact of globalisation and culture on work and the wellbeing and ability to function of the working-age population
