Students
• know how to explain the characteristics of a critically ill patient, the staggering of treatment and competence requirements of nurses
• know how to anticipate, identify and assess changes in the patient’s vital functions in various operating environments
• know how to plan and execute the care of critically ill patients in various operating environments
• know how to use and apply guidance methods in supporting and guiding the patient and their immediate circle
• know how to apply evidence-based activities when treating patients’ main illnesses and assess the impact of care
